When you get lash extensions, one way to ensure great retention is by brushing your lashes. Just pull out your trusty mascara wand and brush through your lashes at least once a day. This will help keep your lash extensions from getting tangled and/ or stuck together. ( Bonus tip: if brushing only once a day- do this right out of the shower 🚿 )⠀

⁣Do you know the difference between a cat eye and a doll eye when it comes to lash extensions?⠀

Some artists have a different way of styling the “doll eye” look, as for me I also call this look “natural” or “open eye” 👀⠀

CAT🐱 EYE: eyelash extensions that start with the shorter extension on the inner corner of the eye and increase in length toward the outer corner of the eye. ⠀
⠀
DOLL EYE: the longest length being in the center of the eye with the inner and outer corners being placed with a shorter extension.⠀
⠀
In the photo 📸 above, you can see how the outer corners are longer than the rest of the eye. This cat eye look was created using volume lashes.⠀
