Hello dog walkers of the world.

This is CJ. He is a German Shepherd. He is 11 years old. The average lifespan of a GSD is 9 to 13 years. CJ is planning on smashing that and living longer. That means he has to keep exercising and using his brain.

I know you have a 2, 3, or 4 year old who has seemingly limitless energy and loves everyone and everything. I know you are desperate to get that energy out so you can hopefully sit on the sofa for more than 5 minutes without have toy thrust into your lap.

But I am begging you - keep your dog on a leash.

CJ is old and cranky. His bones and joints are achy. He just wants to sniff a few things and then go lay down.

He does not want to meet your dog. He does not want to have to go off the trail to avoid your dog jumping on him or getting too close.

There is nothing wrong with your dog. There is nothing wrong with CJ.

He just needs a little more space, patience, and time to make it down the path. We will get out of your way in a jiffy. It may just take us a few minutes, but then you can go back to your regularly scheduled walk.

Please leash your dog so that all dogs can enjoy their time outside with their humans who are just trying to keep them around a little bit longer.

Week of fun classes are filling up!

Checking expiration dates on the treats today and all of these have a "best by" date of next month. There is nothing wrong with them but I just don't like to sell things past their best by date. So if you buy from these you will get double entries into the giveaway!

I have finally put together a schedule for the week of fun classes. Sign up for one or sign up for all.

These are not listed on my website as that would be a painful experience for me to try to do. Websites are not my jam 😂

Simply send me a message letting me know which classes you would like to come to and then I will send you a Venmo link to pay for your spot which will reserve it for you.

Each class will be at 6pm.

I will share a video later going into more details about what you can expect from each class.

It just seems 10 years old working with dogs with big feelings and who like to pull alot is catching up. This brace is to help with some nerve issues I've been dealing with and to hopefully avoid surgery.

We should all take bets with how long I actually wear it 😂😉

I am thinking of doing something a little bit different the first week of September.

Would you be interested in something like this?

Each night of the week would be a different class specifically focusing on just one skill, i.e Monday night - loose leash walking refresher, Tuesday night - proofing stays with distractions, Wednesday night - coming when called refresher, etc.

I'm thinking it would be weather dependent and more of a drop in kind of class (I would still appreciate a heads up for who is coming) and classes would be $25 per dog team per night. You can take as many classes as you would like.

CJ is doing well. He asked to go for a walk today which broke my heart a little bit because he has another week before he can start walks again. Other than the puppy dog eyes he is moving in the right direction.

I will be open this week Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Today I am in and out of private sessions so just message before you stop by if you want to purchase anything.

I will be closed from July 4th to July 21st as we tackle some more home improvements.

How cool are x-rays?

Yes CJs surgery was on his knee but that's doesn't mean we could take a look at his hip health while we were there.
