Halloween 2024 is in the books! We had our resident party with our favorite Halloween songs, candy bags, cider and dracula glazed donuts. After we were done eating, it was time to try out the new teeth! 🧛💜🎃

The McGrath 2nd graders came to sing Halloween songs, pass out handmade Halloween cards and visit with our residents. Smiles from ear to ear 😁. The kids brought so much joy. We loved every minute! 🎃🎃🎃

The ladies got the candy all bagged up for the McGrath second graders (around 55 kids) coming on Halloween dressed in their costumes. Thank you for all of the candy donations! We’re ready! 🥳🧡🎃

If you would like to donate wrapped Halloween candy, there is still time. Monday is the cut off to bring your candy donations to the activities room. We have 2 second grade classes coming on Halloween to sing to our residents and we are preparing goodie bags for them. We appreciate your candy donations. Thank you! 🍬☠️🍬🎃🍬👻🍬

The residents had a drawing to put in for their favorite team 🏈 and a chance to win a mum at our football party. Congratulations to our Michigan Wolverine Yellow 💛 Mum winner and our Michigan State Spartan White 🤍 Mum winner. 🎉

Michigan 💙💛 vs. 💚🤍Michigan State pre game party. We had blue wolverine punch, green spartan punch, beer, wine and lots of finger food goodies! Good luck to both teams! 🎉🏈🎉🏈🎉

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful warm and sunny day to be out and about on an adventure. They’re getting stocked up for the winter with their chocolate and nuts by the pound. 😋🍁🍂 10-11-24

We filled up both of our buses and away we went on our fall color tour friday fun, stop #1 ☀️🍁🦃 Turkey Roost Restaurant in Kawkawlin, Mi. 10-11-24

It’s the beginning of the burr months 🍁🍂🍃
which means it’s that time of year to start collecting coats for the Genesee County Salvation Army Coats for Kids.

If you would like to drop off a new or gently used coat, (bigger sizes needed) the drop off box is located in our lobby.

The last day to drop off a coat donation is Friday, December 6th.

Lunch at the new Trio’s in Goodrich then we went to Porter’s Orchard for some cider and donuts. It was a beautiful warm sunny day. Perfect for a trip. ☀️😎🍎🥧🍏🐝 10-2-24
