Just a reminder that we will be closed July 4 -8 for the Fourth of July holiday.

IT'S THE SUMMER OF GLOVE!

We are so excited to invite you to join us in 's Summer of Glove!

The first activity we are launching is our annual Stashbusting Kids' Stripey Mittens Charity Muster! This runs from now through November 1st. You blew us away last year with more than 600 adorable mittens coming in from all over the country!

So what are we looking for? We need KIDS' PAIRS, AGES 4-9. Knit, crochet, or sewn. Please use easy-care yarn or fabric so that they can be washed when necessary.

Please attach the pair with scrap yarn or scrap thread, at the cuff. If you want to insert a note of encouragement, please do! Please keep it secular and non-holiday in the message. "Someone in _______ made these with you in mind!" or "Made with love from me to you" are always great notes!

Send them whenever you like. And why not post some pictures of you making those mittens right here on our group page? We want to see you and your beautiful work!

There's still time to sign up for these two classes that start tomorrow, June 29th!
The Carne Shawl is crocheted with lightweight yarn, so it's great for those cool summer nights. This class is good for adventurous beginners and up.
The Aprilis Beanie is a lovely lace hat that will be great to wear in the early fall, as it is knit with a lighter weight yarn. This would be a good first lace project, but also not boring for seasoned knitters.
