This month's Community Involvement opportunities are coming up! Next week, the Downtown Development Association (DDA) and Green Dot Program are looking for volunteers to run tables and help with miscellaneous tasks during the Downtown Grand Forks Street Fair.
- All shifts are 2 hours in length
- Shifts are available Thursday, August 22nd - Saturday, August 24th for the DDA
- Shifts are available Friday, August 21st - Saturday, August 24th for Green Dot

Today is the final day that Sam Jenson will serve as the Executive Director for the Greater Grand Forks Young Professionals. It's safe to say that he will be missed greatly by our team and truly exemplified what it meant to be a young professional. Sam served as the GGFYP Executive Director for 3 years and has left a lasting impact on the organization through his commitment to our community.
When reflecting on his time at GGFYP and the search for the next Executive Director, Sam stated:

The Grand Forks Air Force Base is hosting a concert series featuring 30H!3, Bryce Vine, and Andy Grammer on the base! There will also be a lumberjack show, games, activities, and food at the event. GGFYP Members may get base access to attend this event by filling out a short Google Form!
"Access to this event is limited to people with base access. If you do not have base access, please fill out the form below to submit information to obtain a 1-day base pass. Please note that by providing the information below, you agree to a background check by the GFAFB. Access to the concert and GFAFB is not approved until confirmation of the background check."

InternGF Summer Internship Cohort Series π‘
Last week, GGFYP had the pleasure of hosting the InternGF Summer Cohort and sharing what our organization is all about! After a brief presentation from our board members, the cohort went out into the Greater Grand Forks community to spend the afternoon service. They volunteered with North Country Food Bank, Circle of Friends Humane Society, and the Community Violence Intervention Center.
