Oliver was here today for his annual exam, and fully utilized the hide-a-way bag we provided for him in the room! He also looked very cute doing it.

While we are on the topic, our wellness exam's are currently booking out 3-4 weeks, and it seems it will continue to trend that way! If your pet is coming due for any vaccines or exam, call about a month before to get something set up, to ensure your pet gets updated in a timely manner! We want to keep them as healthy as we can.

Almost twins!! This is Lucy and Trigger when they were 3.5 months old (last year).
Trigger was here for wellness exam and we got an updated picture! Look how much they both have grown! Now they are 1 years 3 months.
Trigger is a mini golden doodle at 56.5 lbs and Lucy is a cavapoo at 12.5 lbs, both fully grown.

We will be closed on Saturday, August 10, 2024 for our annual kayaking retreat.

Veterinary staff are great at multi-tasking. For example, we hold dogs and read ear cytology's on the microscope at the same time. Pretty impressive, right?

It's hard to believe it has already been a year without our office manager Jimmy. He would brighten every day and to honor him today we wore our Jimmy shirts. He was one of a kind and has been greatly missed. Thinking of him and family today.

Snape looks super cute in this onesie, and it helps with his diabetic monitoring! If you have a diabetic kitty, ask us about monitoring with freestyle libre, and your cat could be this stylish, too.

Did you know that we can order a CT scan for your pet to be performed here at our hospital?

Meet Beau, a 5 year old chocolate Labrador retriever. He had a slow growing tumor affecting his head and left eye. We were able to partner with Mobile Veterinary CT to obtain images of the tumor in preparation for surgical removal of the mass. Dr. Henn was able to remove most of the tumor, and his owner reports that Beau is recovering well from surgery.

We will try to get pictures of Beau when he comes in for getting his stitches out next week.

Did you know Vet staff aren't just for pokes, prods, and probes? We also act as the occasional pillow! Otis here had a laceration on his paw that needed some sedation and stitches! He was pretty sleepy still after the reversal of sedation, so vet assistant Kaylee took the brave role of a headrest. Otis was a very good boy during his naptime to wait for his mama to pick him up. (And warm too)
