Q: How long have you been with K Group, and what do you do here?
A: I am a software and web developer and have been a part of the K-Data team for a little over 9 years.

Q: What do you like best about working for K Group Companies?
A: I enjoy the mentorship and leadership shown at the company. We all are trying to push each other to grow, and I can feel comfortable and honest approaching anyone in the company.

Q: How did you become interested in working with technology?
A: In high school I took a Java programming class, and we made a robot battling game/program. I thought it was so cool. I also loved tinkering with computers early on. In high school, I took apart our family's Compaq Presario desktop which I remember my Mom and Dad not being very happy with.

Q: Tell us a bit about your family.
A: I have an amazing wife and a six year old son! Our furry family member is a black lab named Houston. We also will be having our 10-year wedding anniversary this summer. Hard to believe how fast time flies!

Q: How do you get involved in your community?
A: My family goes to a local church in Jenison. We teach Sunday school and have been on a mission's trip to Bonaire together. It's a very beautiful place.

Q: What are some of your favorite hobbies?
A: In the summer we love to camp, bike, boating, going to the beach and hanging out in the pool. Basically, we love the outdoors in the summer. In the winter I like to snowboard or go cross-country skiing. I've also gotten into collecting vinyl records. What year is this?!

Q: What are 2 things we might not know about you?
A: 1) I have never broken a bone! 2) Slight obsession with hot sauce (but not the mega, melt your face off hot ones so much, more so the crazier the flavor or combination the better)

Q: What sports team(s) do you root for and why?
A: DETROIT LIONS because they embody GRIT, are exciting to watch and Motor City Dan Campbell is one of a kind. Excited to see them play this season!

Q: How long have you been with K Group, and what do you do here?
A: I have been with K Group about 5 months, and I am a SDC/PDC for Data Consultants.

Q: What do you like best about working for K Group Companies?
A: The sense of ownership people have in their work, and the buy in people have to raise the standards in their field to set us apart from other companies.

Q: Tell us a bit about your family.
A: I have been married to my wife for 7 years. We have owned 5 horses during that time and currently have 2 dogs (Sadie and Maddie).

Q: How do you get involved in your community?
A: In Florida, I was involved in a group called Somebody Cares Pasco. It was a group of local churches and ministries that did service projects and provided for schools and the homeless. I am currently part of my church’s security team.

Q: What are some of your favorite hobbies?
A: Michigan Football and Basketball have been a staple in my house from childhood. I have always hunted deer, but in recent years I have taken up turkey hunting and would like to travel to hunt more. My wife and I have always loved hiking with our dogs. One of our favorite places to go is the Saugatuck State Dunes. I have also started cooking as a hobby, and I started growing veggies and have really invested into smoking meats.

Q: What are 2 things we might not know about you?
A: My family started a coffee shop down in New Port Richey, Florida while I was still in High School. It is still owned and operated by the family we opened it with. I graduated high school with my Associates Degree because I was a full-time dual enrollment student in high school.

Q: What sports team(s) do you root for and why?
A: Michigan football is something I look forward to watching every Fall. Growing up my dad had every game on, and I still watch most of the games with him and my brothers. New Castle FC is a team I recently started watching. My Father-in-Law has always been a big fan, and my wife's family lives in New Castle, England.
