Way to go Ashlee! Ashlee shared with us before surgery, she felt so unhealthy both mentally and physically. She said she battled sleep apnea and high blood pressure and had to be on 5 different blood pressure medications. When talking about her journey, Ashlee said:

Tiffany lost a whopping 185 pounds with the help of her gastric sleeve and we are so proud! Tiffany said she was struggling with weird medical issues before her weight loss, which seemed to continue after the weight loss. However, every time she went to the doctor before weight loss, “ so many neurosurgeons had just blamed my weight.”. When the issues continued after the weight loss, they took her seriously and she said, “Last year I ended up having a full seizure, I went to the hospital and found out I had Brian cancer.”. She talks about how she then had major brain surgery to resect the tumor, and had she still been heavy, this could have been deadly for her, and the healing process could have been much harder. Now, Tiffany says, “I am walking 3 miles, riding my bike, hiking and just enjoying life, in every moment. My goal is to start working on running and doing a 5k in September with my neuro oncologist to raise money and awareness for brain cancer.”. Tiffany’s journey is a true testament to how this surgery can literally save your life! We are so glad you are on this incredible health journey Tiffany! Thank you for sharing with the world!
