Thursday, August 22, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. at The Lowell Riverwalk
Pink Arrow is kicking off their 2024 activities with a community day full of activities! There will be free mammograms, a blood drive located at the Lowell Showboat, and this year’s Pink Arrow t-shirts will be available for purchase. A portion of the proceeds Pink Arrow Pride raises helps support the free cancer and grief support program of Gilda’s Club Lowell.

Gilda's Club Grand Rapids had the opportunity to work with Olivia Rodriguez throughout these past couple of months as she joined the team as a program intern. We can't wait to see what Olivia does next and wish her the best on this journey.

The West Side Walk is happening Saturday, September 28 and we want you to join us! Are you or someone you know part of a team that would want to spread some cheer from 10:45-12 on walk day or even stay late to join us for lunch.

Did you guess right? Phil Dezern is celebrating his work anniversary with Gilda's and has been on our program staff since August 8, 2022.

West Side Walk Bingo! Throughout the duration of August, you can fill in your bingo card to earn raffle tickets. Plus, fill your entire card to earn an entry to win a $100 Meijer gift card.

Please join Gilda's Club Grand Rapids and Olivia, an Occupational Therapy intern from Grand Valley State University for a time to learn a new craft and practice mindfulness. During this activity you will create a felt heart through materials provided of wool, felting needle and felting pad. Throughout the workshop there will be time to feel and calm emotions while creating a beautiful felt heart to take home with you.

Very eventful day over at Gilda's Club Grand Rapids. We had three different volunteer groups join us today to help with various projects at the clubhouse.

Kellanova brought volunteers to help out on our grounds, they paid special attention to our playground area and helped install our old sign in a new place!

Deksia brought volunteers to help put together freezer meals in our kitchen. These meals will help support our supper together program.

MOKA brought volunteers that helped us clean and sanitize NoogieLand.

The Grand Rapids Rise had their first-ever Rise Above Cancer match back in May supporting Gilda's Club Grand Rapids. Today we met with our friends over at Rise and received a check for the proceeds raised from the event!

We can't wait to see this pro volleyball team back on the court when the season starts back up!

We had a great time yesterday at the 2024 Gilda's Club Open. We had amazing weather for the event. Thank you to all of the Golfers that came out to support GCGR.

All are welcome to join for a cupcake celebration as we honor the birthday of our namesake, the late Gilda Radner's birthday and celebrate Community is stronger than Cancer day with our fellow CSC affiliates. Cupcakes will be available as well as an opportunity to add your quote to the display in the Parlor about what makes you laugh as we remember Gilda Radner and the humor, she brought to so many throughout her lifetime.

We will be celebrating June 26 at 5:30 P.M. and June 27 at 5:30 P.M.
