We perform five high-quality productions per year and offer an Associate in Arts degree in theatre.
We present five fully mounted productions each year, including a children’s production in the fall and a musical in the summer. Each season is carefully chosen to showcase the best classical and contemporary plays as well as present a variety of theatrical genres and styles. Theatre courses are approved for a seamless transfer to Illinois colleges and universities under the Illinois Articulation I

On April 18th @ 7:00pm-8:30pm in room A013 on the Grayslake Campus, contributors to CLC's award-winning literary magazine, "Willow Review," will read from their original poetry and prose. You can even pick up a copy on the 51st issue! Even better, this event is FREE!!
The 2024 Featured Illinois Author is Michael (M. C.) Rydel, who has published poems in a variety of journals and magazines, including "Balcony Magazine," "Batayan," "Caravel," "CC & D," "Chanterelle's Notebook," "Down in the Dirt," Lucky Star," Shadowboxing," Twisted Vine," and the "Oyez Review." Rydel also adopted the stage name of M. C. Rydel to perform spoken word poetry in many venues in Chicago, Grand Rapids, Flagstaff, Sedona, New York City, and Paris, France. In 2022, Atmosphere Press published Rydel's first collection of poetry title "Almost a Memoir." He is currently working on a poetry chapbook and a novella.
