We're an Outreach Services Associate at the Center for Young Adult, Adolescent and Pediatric HIV at Northwell Health. Know anyone who might be interested? Our outreach team works mostly in the community, via social media, street-based outreach and health venues in our HIV/STI testing van. The employee will be trained with health education information regarding sexual health, STI, HIV prevention with PEP/PrEP and HIV treatment, and will also be trained to draw blood from a fingertip for HIV testing in the field/van. The candidate must be comfortable in speaking about sexual health, STI and HIV treatment and prevention with members of the LGBTQI+ community, (including Trans folx) and with heterosexual individuals as well. Driver’s license preferred (not required), Spanish bilingual (preferred, not required).
