The job of a laborer is to assist the foreman and locator. The laborer is expected to complete a variety of different tasks, they may vary on a day-to-day basis. To succeed in this role, you should be a fast learner, have good listening skills, ability to read maps and work well in a fast-paced environment.

Position Responsibilities:

· Ability to operate hand tools and small equipment such as jack hammer, saws and drills
· Help load materials and/or equipment
· Clean/restoration of job sites
· Keep equipment clean
· Help with digging holes
· Fill out daily pre-trip inspections on any vehicle you drive
· Work in different temperatures and changing weather conditions
· Operation of a hydrovac to excavate and identify existing utilities
· Able and willing to use a shovel when needed

Requirements

· Class A CDL is a plus, or willing to get within 3 months of being hired
· Construction background preferred, but not required
· Clean driving record
· Good communication skills and able to take directional from crew foreman and work well with others
· Must have good teamwork, organization, multitasking, and time management skills

The job of a driller is to drill in a safe and effective manner. The driller is expected to complete a variety of different tasks, they may vary on a day-to-day basis. The driller will work closely with the locator and crew member(s). To succeed in this role, you must have knowledge of running a drill and have a Class A CDL.

The job of a Locator is to identify and map location and depth of utilities such as water, sewer, gas, cable, oil, and electric lines. The locator is expected to complete a variety of different tasks, they may vary on a day-to-day basis. Locators will work closely with the drill operator and crew member(s). To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills.

Position Responsibilities:
