Currently seeking a manual lathe
machinist, experience preferred and vertical mill work as well on 5 days a week 1st shift schedule.

Duties include: Customer service, machining of hydraulic components, inventory control on both stock and machine parts. Unloading of stock and organizing inventory. Cleaning and light maintenance on machines.

Benefits include: Full company paid health insurance as well as HSA contributions from the company. Vacation, sick days, and Holiday pay after 90 days of employment. Bonus at mid year and year end based on performance and company profits. Company contributes to a Simple Plan for retirement. Company paid uniforms.

Compensation will be based on experience.

The storms this weekend took a toll on a lot of us. These are times we count on our equipment the most for the clean up process. Should you have a blown hose, a bent cylinder rod, or a leaky cylinder...be sure to bring it in and we will do our best to get you back up and running as quickly as possible!

Today marks the last day of November and for us Wisconsinites, we know the worst is ahead for winter. Make sure your log splitter is in mint condition to keep that fireplace rolling through those cold winter nights as well as that snow plow to make sure you aren't snowed in!! We can make new/spare hoses, repair the cylinders, repair or get replacement pumps/motors, and get you back up and running in no time!!!!

Our CNC machine is up and running at full throttle to help get those parts out quicker and you are back onsite in a more timely fashion.

A customer brought In a "pretzel" cylinder (as they called it) to be repaired. We had the rod material and seals in stock making it easy for us to turn the cylinder around right away!

Some more repairs completed for a customer. We rebuilt the cylinder, made all new hoses and installed, replaced the filter, valve, and pump to have this log splitter up and running like new!

Not only do we repair cylinders here at Astro Hydraulics, but we can also build them brand new!! We just finished these up for a customer and they are heading to the paint booth!

Happy last day of August!! Where did summer go?!?! Sad to say, but our lovely Wisconsin weather will be here before we know it. Be sure to get your snowplow cylinders in before it hits so you're ready!!!
