Christ Fellowship Eastside
At Christ Fellowship Eastside, we seek to multiply disciples to the glory of God by pursuing Christ, living connected, and sharing good news.
See you tomorrow!
Over the last month, the songwriting team has introduced our church to four new original songs. We wanted to share the story behind each one this week. We hope it’s an encouragement. Today we’ll look at “Love Each Other”. See the link below to find the live recordings on our YouTube page.
This song resonates deeply with Jesus’s command in John 15:12 to love one another as He loves us. It poignantly portrays the disparity between our words and actions. Each verse reflects on our shortcomings in contrast to Jesus’s love. The chorus vividly illustrates His love through tangible acts like feeding the hungry, being home to the homeless, and strengthening the weak. Ultimately, it serves as a powerful declaration, echoing 1 John 4:11, urging us to love others as Jesus loves us.
