Marine Corps Recruiting Sub-Station Greenville, SC
The events of 9/11 will forever be etched in our memories and in our hearts.
Marines will never forget the tremendous loss our country endured, and we continue to be inspired by the bravery and resolve Americans displayed on this day 22 years ago.
Training and Education 2030 describes how the Corps will modernize and transform training for the future force. The Corps’ existing doctrine – including the bedrock publication of MCDP-1 Warfighting – serves as a solid grounding for our philosophy of maneuver warfare.
As we look to the future, the Corps will continuously review, refine and update our doctrine. We cannot remain static: we must capture the results of our learning and experimentation, and regularly update the doctrinal products that form the basis for the way we fight.
This is the second post in our series on Training and Education 2030.

Military police
MOS CODE : 5811
Want to be a cop and you’re not 21 yet?! Why not try military police?
Even the military needs members willing to step forward as model representatives to police the base and keep individuals safe.
This is where Marine Corps Military Police, or MOS 5811, come into action.
MOS 5811 is the designation for Marines who are military police officers.
These servicemen, and women, are responsible for policing military bases all over the world. They perform most of the same actions and uphold the same responsibilities that police officers do in the civilian world but are dealing exclusively with military members and their families.
🚁Marine Corps Aviation 🛫
Did you know the Marine Corps has an entire field of jobs related to aviation? And also that the Marine Corps currently has more aircraft than even the Air Force?
There’s a common misconception about the Marines only being infantrymen…that’s erroneous, every Marine is trained to be a rifleman but we’re also trained in over 350 technical fields and trades related to air, land and sea.
HMU if you want to know more about the different job fields.
Each year, we celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15.
Marines take pride in the strength we gain through the diversity, values, and continuous contributions of the Hispanic American community.
