The sun has set on a beautiful summer and what a perfect way to close it out with our B-Street Women! 🌅

While it still might be “summer” weather for a little while, we love getting together to make new connections and friendships as we head into this new school year together.

We are so thankful for special moments like last night and for the community we have within our Women’s Ministry at Buncombe Street! 💛 (and we are extra thankful for the homemade peach pies 🥧 - what a wonderful treat!)

This past Sunday we presented our third graders with their very own Bibles during worship.

We are excited to see how God’s Word will guide them and allow them to grow on their faith journeys. May these Bibles be a source of wisdom, strength, and inspiration as they continue to learn and walk with Christ!

Join us for a wonderful evening of fellowship, dinner, and prayer at Midweek at B-Street, happening on the second Wednesday of each month this fall. This monthly gathering is the perfect opportunity to connect with others, share a delicious meal, and find spiritual refreshment.

🍽 The first dinner is August 14 at 5:30 PM. Stop by the Memorial Chapel for a time of prayer with our Prayer Ministry team, and then head to Drake Hall for dinner!

Moving day success! Last week, we turned the hard work of moving into a joyous community effort. We are so grateful for these opportunities to see the power of teamwork and serve others! 📦💙📦

Happy 4th of July! We thank God for the liberty we enjoy in our nation, a freedom hard-won and cherished, a reflection of the greater freedom He offers us through Jesus Christ. We are grateful for the salvation He provides, freedom from the bo***ge of sin and the promise of eternal life. 🇺🇸

May we be instruments of His peace, bringing His message of salvation to those who have not yet heard. As we celebrate, let us reflect on the spiritual freedom we have, a freedom that transcends any earthly power. ❤️

Join us on Friday, July 12 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM as we move two families from Front Porch Housing into a single-family home. We will move storage totes, boxes, and items in and out of a U-Haul truck. Children ages 10+ are welcome to join with a parent/ guardian. Please bring a water bottle and wear closed-toe shoes. We love having opportunities to support, uplift, and grow together in our walk with Christ. Let's continue to cherish these moments and invite others to experience the love and fellowship we share. ✝

Today we give thanks to God for the gift of fatherhood and lift up all the father figures in our lives. May they continue to reflect God's love and compassion in all they do, and be a source of strength and encouragement to others. We are thankful for the memories and love left behind from fathers who are no longer with us, and ask that He gives hope and peace to those who might struggle on this day. 🌻

We recognize that God is the ultimate father of us all. His love, guidance, and protection are our constant companions, and we are deeply thankful for his presence in our lives. 💚

So thankful our team (& 56 pieces of luggage) made it there safely and are hard at work with Jungle Kids for Christ. 🦜✝️

What a wonderful week of VBS! We are praising God that 140 kids came through the doors of our church and heard the good news about Jesus. They spent time learning that truth comes from God, God's plan is best, everyone needs Jesus, and Jesus is the only way to heaven. These are truths that we hope to continue to instill in the lives of these children for years to come. ✝️

🌳 Our mission offering this week raised money for Jungle Kids for Christ, and we are so thrilled to have raised $2,282 that will go towards the purchase of a new vehicle to better reach kids in the jungle of Ecuador. Say a prayer for our missions team that left this morning to work alongside this incredible organization for a week.

🌟 Thank you to all our families for supporting this week and for letting your children participate. We also want to thank our AMAZING volunteer team - without you, a week like this would not be possible!

🙏 We pray that all these kids continue to grow in their faith and seek God's truth for their lives, and we already can't wait for VBS next year!

Over the next few weeks, we will dive into the powerful invitations found throughout the Bible and learn about how we can extend the invitation to others to be a part of our church community.

That’s a wrap on our 21 Days of Missions! We are so grateful for the opportunity to support our local and international mission partners while teaching our congregation about our Christian calling to His mission. Over the past few weeks, we have journeyed together with prayer, fellowship and service to see how we can grow God’s Kingdom. We are SENT! ☀️
