Our GTCHS Cross Country team was on the move yesterday for the Landrum Grillmaster Invitational. The Varsity and JV boys teams both placed 3rd and the girls placed 5th. Individual medalists were Marlowe Leet 2nd place, Sophia Talbott 6th place in varsity girls. Ellis Horton 10th in the varsity boys race, with Jacob Jaconetti 3rd in JV boys.
Well done Warriors! Congratulations to all!

What goes on after the bell rings at the Greenville Tech Charter High School, Barton Campus? Future Physicians Club is back exploring medical careers with Ms Yolanda Richards, at the Radiologic Technology suite of offices at the new Prisma Health Sciences building. Rad Tech is the gateway training for all types of imaging including fluoroscopy, mammography, CT, and x-rays.
In building 120, teachers Ms Taylor and Ms Pratt work with IT expert,Mr Holland, updating their technology while Ms Kay takes a breath after a busy day meeting with the student government and teaching chemistry.

Our Greenville Tech Charter High School student cadets, led by Ms Lisa Hall, participated in the "i Teach" conference at Roper Mountain Science Center today. Our twelve 'teachers to be' were joined with over 450 students from across Greenville County to learn, grow, and exchange ideas.
Congratulations Ms Hall for inspiring these young people to take on the noble profession of education.

Big day for the GTCHS XC team at the Southside Cross Country Tiger Classic. Varsity boys took 1st place and Varsity girls took 3rd!
Individual medalists were Ellis Horton (3rd), Marlowe Leet (2nd), and Sophia Talbot (3rd). Boys placing in the top ten: Riku Shibata (4th), Jeremiah Campbell (5th), William Morrison (6), and Liam Granger (9th). Landon Grainger finished 7th in the JV boys race. Well done Warriors!

Greenville Tech Charter High School was rocking last night as students, parents, and faculty joined together for Open House.
Highlights of the evening included the club fair, senior parent meeting, and visits with teachers in their classrooms.

GTCHS hosted a lunch party for our new juniors and sophomores today. We had a record number transfer to GTCHS. What better way to make them feel welcome than a special lunch, musical chairs, and limbo?

Happy days are happening at GTCHS. Students are settling into their high school classes with 270 starting their fall college classes at beautiful Greenville Technical College this Monday!

An amazing day at Greenville Technical Charter High School starting with senior sunrise for the Class of 2025 ending with Warrior Volleyball against Shannon Forest at the SLC.

Principal Dr Gregory and GTCHS board chair Chris Loewer were honored to attend the Greenville Technical College 's ribbon cutting at the new Health Sciences Building. David Chavez met up with Bank of America Upstate SC President Tracy Brandon. Class of 2023's David Doyle interned with Harper Construction his senior year and was excited to see the finished building.

Students in Action Interact Club hosted a kickoff luncheon with Greenville Rotary speaker and groundbreaking pilot Jane Dyer.

David, along with over 300 students from across the country, gathered to share their summer internship experiences and learn how to amplify their service and effectiveness in their communities. David has been interning all summer at the Hispanic Alliance. Congratulations!

For three days only Students in Action Interact, in partnership with the Greenville Rotary, will be gathering school supplies and bookbags for students at this Title 1 school.

GTCHS Junior Wilson Quarles is making the most of his summer, he's just completed the "SEE" Summer Enrichment Experience at VCOM Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg. The program gave students an opportunity to work with cadavers to identify parts of the heart, brain, spinal cord, and lungs. Students toured the VCOM campus and DNA lab. They also attended lectures in neurosicience, digestion, nutrition and gene editing. Wilson's new skills include intubation and arm splinting!
Like many medically interested students, Wilson is part of the Future Physicians Club. He is also a youth board member at the Ronald McDonald House. Well done Wilson!

New principal, Dr Rhonda Gregory, is now at the helm of Greenville Technical Charter High School! Preparation for the August start is in full swing. Registrar Ms Fetters and CFO Ms Rogers are happy to be back after the 4th of July break.
The Warrior Women's volleyball team is looking good and practicing daily. Coach Shiley is excited to see so much talent.

Greenville Technical Charter High plans next phase of expansion project A larger cafeteria and additional science labs are planned for the second phase of Greenville Technical Charter High School’s facilities renovation.

Advanced Manufacturing Night at the Greenville Drive Fluor Field . Students received free tickets to the baseball game and an opportunity to engage with the Upstate 's heavy hitters including GE, BMW, KOOPS, Bosch, Rexroth, Ryobi, Michelin, and Greenville Technical College.

This week GTCHS is represented by SIX students participating in the Clemson Career Workshop, the summer high school readiness program for juniors and seniors.
Our students are having a blast at Clemson University while participating in tours, lectures, and hands-on learning. They've also enjoyed dorm life, zip lines, and unlimited soft ice cream in the dining hall!

Girls State included Ellie and Elizabeth. Ellie was elected Comptroller General representing the 620 young women in attendance!
At the National Beta Convention in Savannah, Habiba competed in the spelling competition while Juliana took 10th place in sculpture!
