I dont know why this thing wouldn't let me do anything on it for a while... anyways, I am only working Fridays for now. I have most of today booked, but I do have a 6:30 or 7pm if anyone wants those times.
I'm doing it this way because I'm getting a part time job on top of some other makes more sense to lump everyone on one day vs. Having appointments spaced out so much and making multiple trips for one or two people a day. It just wasn't very practical.
Serval reminders: 7pm isn't the end of my day. 7pm is the very last appointment I book for anything.
Color prices cover the time I spend on the COLOR part. Your color could take me two hours but the haircut, treatment, and style that is lumped with it, could takes us up about 3/3.5. That hour or hour and a half, COMES WITH the 2 hour color. It is no longer charged hourly because its not hair color. I got a lot of confusion on that and would like to clear it up.

Here's a good tutorial for REALLY doing your hair up with the butterfly, wolf, octopus, and jellyfish cuts. Lots of layers. I dont even have a Dyson. But a big round brush and a hair dryer works fine. When I had long hair I rocked the s**g for a bit and rollers were my best friends bc I hate round brushing my own hair, so it cut my work in half. They're highly under rated for us lazy people 🤣
Hot rollers are coming back
The perms are coming back but there's more ways to do them other than the plastic rollers. I would love to try a braided perm on someone and I'd love to try the bendy curler perms on someone. Ill post some stuff on that as Both are more loose looking curls/waves. I highly suggest you don't have bleach in your hair. It IS possible to perm with bleach and highlights with a sensitive solution and olaplex, but I just wouldn't reccomend it unless your ready for some damage.
Mullets are in. Its probably not your parents mullet, unless you want it to be. There's a lot of different variations and modern techniques. The late 70s and early 80s are back. Big hair is in. We even have some early 90s being thrown into the mix.

Whats something you've always wondered about hair or the profession surrounding it?

I have the opportunity to stay open for a few more weeks, however this doesn't work unless I get people in ASAP.
New policy change: Due to a high amount of cancelations and rescheduling: if you go over 3 times of rescheduling or cancelations in 6 months you'll have to find someone who can work like that. I'm keeping tally from April to October right now.

Due to the holidays and my son's birthday and the extracurricular activities I've been doing this week, I am opening up next Monday 2-7pm. First 2 appointments made for that day get 10% off their service! Get it while it's hot. I will be in this week Thursday and Friday at regular hours 12-7pm (7pm is my last available spot for anything so if you work late its available) Saturday I will be closing and leaving shop at 5pm to get my son ready for his birthday party.
