Hanging up at Iron Horse Steamers a letter of gratitude from one of the precious families we have the honor of calling part of our LTBM Family. LeeAnna and her husband Olin dined out at several restaurant in their community to support our efforts. We had been working with Olin since April of 2023 and had been moved by his faith, gratitude, and desire to bless others with prayer and kindness. The last time we saw Olin in November, LeeAnna had mentioned writing some letters to a few of our restaurant partners... this morning she was having breakfast at Iron Horse Steamers and saw they had hung her letter up - I'm so glad she shared this picture with us.
Olin passed away on December 17, 2023. His celebration of life was everything Olin was...a blessing for all who attended. He loved God and loved people and he certainly loved his family.
We have been very blessed in 2024. Thank you for thinking of us and donating to our mission throughout the year. On this Giving Tuesday we ask that you take a look around your own home and give an extra hug to those you love the most. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow and many of us can think of someone we’d love one more day with.
Our student ambassadors were inspired by Mike Pereyo, co-founder of last night. Mike shared his story and buckets of nuggets of advice and wisdom with our group. We love that members of our community want to impact and encourage the next in line.
Let's see who won!
Well, this was an incredible gift and a great way to start a Monday. Though they were not Dine Out for Mom restaurant partners, Table 301 decided to send a BIG SURPRISE our way. Today is their 26th Anniversary - join us in wishing them a happy anniversary and thanking them for supporting our community and the mission of Let There Be Mom
