Sarah & Ryan got married at Pretty Place and originally wanted to do this streamer ‘exit’ up the stairs leaving the chapel after their kiss.

After shooting there so many times, I advised them it would be a little difficult due to lighting, the added difficulty of walking up stairs and then also not all the guests would be lined up because they would be spread out throughout the pews.

So after brainstorming, I suggested we do an ‘entrance streamer’ into their reception!! They loved this idea and I’m so happy with the way it turned out! They had an afternoon reception at a local park so it was a great way to get everyone excited about their arrival to kick things off 🙌🏼

Gretchen + Garrett had a simple elopement at Pretty Place aka Fred W. Symmes Chapel! They gathered with their closest friends and family for their “I do’s” and then we did pictures in the mountains at Pretty place and then made a quick pit stop at Bald Rock on the way down the mountain! ⛰️

Holy macaroni, this family crushed their session 🔥 and 4 year old Rose was smiles the entire time! She was so darn precious 🥹

It was hot, definitely felt like summer haha! But Elinor & Craig are welcoming their second baby in August and I was so honored to capture some maternity family photos for them before they become a family of four 🫶🏼

I think if we did our wedding again I would definitely include a paint by numbers art piece 🙌🏼

As I get older and have my own house, I’ve learned to appreciate art, especially one that would mean so much! 🥹

Gretchen + Garrett this past week 🫶🏼

This week I am playing catch up! Quick story: my high school science teacher created these days for us called Heinz 57 days and they were are “ketchup” days for us to get caught up on any work we had! We would walk into science class and it would say “Heinz 57 Day” and it was just as exciting as walking in and seeing the cart with the tv on top 🙃🙃🙃

Jackson starts summer camp this week so I have a full work week this week and I am stoked! 🥳 I have two weddings and two sessions to complete! We also have our gender reveal on Saturday and then we leave for a little vacay on Sunday!

Who thinks I can get all this editing done before Friday?? 😂😂😂

I have contacted Google support, read many blogs and tried all their troubleshooting suggestions but nothing has worked to get it back because it's saying that email that was connected no longer exists 🤷🏼‍♀️ The whole thing is a complete mystery!

Anyways, this was the hub of where I collected all my reviews for the past 12+ years, and now they are all gone, which is devastating. As a service based business, reviews are super important so future clients can read about past experiences before hiring me. I had 30+ 5-star reviews on my previous listing, and now I am starting from scratch! 😔

Moments from Maryellen & Chandler’s elopement day 🥹

I met Maryellen at Pretty Place when I was photographing another couples wedding last year. Her and her dad were up from Florida visiting and told me they are looking to get married here next year! We quickly exchanged contact info and here we are on this beautiful day getting them married!

They got ready at a beautiful air bnb with most gorgeous huge glass windows that made it perfect for details + getting ready! I loved this cabin because it had a modern industrial vibe to it along with your typical cabin decor!

We had rain for most of the day, but thankfully it was light! This day just proves Pretty Place is gorgeous even in the fog and clouds, it’s still absolutely stunning!

Erin & Steven reached out to me for a photo session gift for her mom so she could have professional pictures with the grandchildren! HIGHLY RECOMMEND doing this!! It’s definitely something that can be cherished forever and it’s always nice to have photos of your babies on your wall 🥰

The weather and lighting on this day was so beautiful and soft! It was definitely a good day to show off Falls Park in Greenville!

It was a veryyyy cold day (so much we had to go to our cars to take a break 🥶 haha!) this will be a session I’ll never forget! We had so much fun though and it’s nice to think the next time I see them Peter and I will be documenting their wedding day in Hilton Head on the beach in complete opposite 90 degree weather! ☀️

Ashley got ready at this cute Air Bnb in Travelers Rest the morning of her wedding. It was a sunny, beautiful day but also pretty hot mid-morning!

I remember asking her “do you mind if we go around back to do your first look with dad? It will be in the direct sun but I know it will be gorgeous with the mountains in the background!”

She was all for it, trusted my vision and this was the whole reason she booked this bnb was because of the view! This is definitely in my top five for favorite first looks with dad. 🥹🥲

I pay attention to these little details about your day. When you book a venue or a place to get ready in because of a view or certain aesthetic—- I’m going to be sure to show that in your gallery—- and I will always put you in the best lighting no matter what! 🙌🏼

This was my last wedding of 2023 and it was a beauty!! 🥹

Haven has been writing letters to her future husband since she was 16. November 30th 2023, she finally got to give this book to Chaseton. 🥲 She marked the page of when she started writing to him.

Many tears were shed on this beautiful day! It was chilly, but sunny and the view at Pretty Place never disappoints! ⛰️👍🏼

If i had to describe Kaitlyn + Steven’s wedding day in only a few words it would be heartwarming, genuine and intentional 🙏🏼 This was one of those wedding days that makes me reflect on how I choose to spend my career and makes me fall in love with my job all over again 🥲

We met in mid October just as the last bit of Spring was leaving and Fall was entering. It was a such a beautiful evening and we literally shot into the night! So much so, I was able to capture a little slice of the moon! (See the last slide!)
