Ask yourself this; If being a Christian was a crime, would there be enough evidence in your life to convict you?

From Matthew 4:23-25;
The name and fame of Jesus spread quite rapidly. Many saught Him. They wanted, needed, healing, so they came. They came from near and far, different people, different beliefs, different backgrounds. Different, but the same. The same as all of us, in need of healing, in need of salvation.
They were healed and returned to their homes. And now what? Have you been healed and gone back to your life? Are you telling people about the Healer? Are you sharing Him? Are you satisfied? Is it enough to go to worship on Sunday then return home until next Sunday? Or should we follow? Follow Him, every moment of every day. Follow His teaching, His way, reaching out to all, following the road He has laid out before us. Warning: it's not an easy road, but you won't travel alone. He will be be with you every step, carrying you, leading you, blessing you. That's His promise. He never breaks a promise.

John 18:38 "And Pilate saith unto him (Jesus), 'What is truth?'......."

What is truth? What is true?
In the time that we are living, a Time that the media sources are reporting conflicting versions of events, that chaos and confusion are rampant around the globe, what is the truth?
Pilate sounds confused about it over 2000 years ago, doesn't he? Has anything really changed?
I say NO! The issues haven't, the chaos hasn't, the confusion hasn't. We haven't ! Most importantly, the truth hasn't!!!
The real Truth is God hasn't changed, either! The real Truth is we are all sinners deserving eternal punishment in Hell. The REAL TRUTH IS, GOD LOVES US ANYWAY!! THE ONLY REAL TRUTH WE NEED TO FOCUS ON IS JESUS!
Jesus came to us, and still comes to us ( we don't come to Him, by the way) to bear our sins for us, to take our sins away, to cast them away to be forgotten that we may stand before a sovereign God washed clean, presented Holy before Him, to be allowed to enter heaven for ever.
Wow! How amazing is that truth?

Love for God and love for His people go hand in hand. Why? Because He loves His people. Our love for God will naturally flow into our love for the ones that He loves. But the reverse is equally true. Our love for God’s children will increase our obedience to God and His commands because God’s commands are designed to establish unity and community among His people.

Lord, words cannot describe the wonder that I experience when I consider the works of Your hands. The mountains and the seas, the moon and the stars, all testify to Your power. From the first moments, the universe has displayed Your glory. Your majesty and creativity leave me awestruck, and all I can do is offer You praise. In Jesus’ name, amen.

A prophet. What's that word mean? No, it's not the super-spiritual nonsense you hear from some prosperity themed "churches." Biblically, the word "prophet" means guardian of the Word. A prophet can see the difference between the way it is and the way God has called it to be. A prophet is gifted with the possession of a holy hatred of the space between.

Isaiah 41:10 ~ Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

I'm not going to follow a preacher in a mansion preaching a gospel about a homeless Messiah. I'm not going to listen to a pastor on a private jet preaching about a Saviour on a donkey. I don't care how good or stylish or nice or relevant he is. I think discernment in the Christian church with regard to money issues is terribly lacking.

2 Samuel 7:22 (KJV) Wherefore thou art great, O LORD God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

Jesus was no “great moral teacher.” As C.S. Lewis points out, either he was a lunatic - on the level with a man who says he is a poached egg - or else something worse. Or, he was and is who he said he was. But great moral teacher? He didn’t give us that option and he didn’t intend to.

Judges 21:25- In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes.
This could be said of our own country today. Israel chose not to follow God, same as many of our leaders.
If everyone does that which is right in his own eyes, chaos and confusion comes. We, as a nation, are confused. Confused about what constitutes life, confused about gender identity, confused about what is right and what is wrong.
Without God, we have NO moral compass. Chaos rules these days.
This is not true of all the land nor all the people, I know. However, we must be aware of what is peeking over the horizon.
So, what are we to do? That which is right in our own eyes or in the eyes of the Lord? I believe we know the answer. I say this; Pray, immerse yourself in His word, and spread the gospel to all people making disciples.

“A minister, servant, or worker of the Lord Jesus is not a 'special' believer belonging to a 'special group.' According to New Testament revelation, every believer should be a minister, servant, or worker.”

The past is a great place to visit but I wouldn’t want to live there. Eyes ahead. Steady grip. The future is on the horizon.
