Who’s ready for the weekend? We’ll be toasting the end of another packed week with some recently released small-batch NY vodka and whiskey that we named, branded and packaged.
Not today. ✌️
Sending off our summer interns with a big thank you and best wishes for what’s next, whether that’s the start of their senior year or the beginning of a promising career. We’re better for having you in the FLamily!

An avid writer since childhood, Samantha Keebler is now crafting her story as a vital part of the FerebeeLane copywriting team. Graduating Summa Cum Laude with a BA in English Literature from Southern Illinois University, and more recently completing her thesis, “Contemporary Women’s Poetry and Leaning into the Senses,” for a Master of Arts degree in Comparative Literature at Clemson University, she brings a unique background in pedagogy, literary studies and creative writing to our client roster. But she’s not all academic in her pursuits: catch her on the weekends hiking through the Carolina Foothills with her fiancé and pup or tasting through Greenville’s robust craft brewery scene.
Get to know Samantha a little more ⬇️
Current listen:
A Moment Apart by ODESZA is an album I return to often. And almost always makes me a little nostalgic for carefree college summers.
Current reads:
Currently between Isabel Wilkerson’s book, Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents and Louise Glück’s chapbook, Winter Recipes From the Collective. The latter is truly never finished, but that’s the beauty of poetry—it gets better the more you read it.
Current eats:
I’m a big heat girl, so no matter where I go, I’m looking for the spiciest dish. I frequently get this craving for Thai Restaurant’s Pad See Ew. At a spice level 10 it’ll knock the socks off the most spice-tolerant people. But fair warning, the next day will make you question all your life choices.
Weekend fun:
Exploring the city with my fiancé and our beagle is my absolute favorite pastime. Whether we’re picnicking at the base of the Falls, listening to live music at Fireforge, or hiking around Paris Mountain State Park, there’s always something to do here and we’re so fortunate to be so close to the heart of everything.
Inspiration:
Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Toni Morrison, bell hooks, Adrienne Rich, Gloria Steinem, Kimberlé Crenshaw, and more.
Remember when we translated classical French into Aurebesh? May the 4th be with you....

Telling a good story is in Rodney Rogers's blood. His father was editor of his hometown newspaper. A cousin was the sportswriter who coined the iconic phrase, “It’s not whether you win or lose, it’s how you play the game.” As a recently named FerebeeLane Associate Creative Director and Senior Writer, Rodney will be lending that storytelling knack and expertise to the kinds of brands on which he’s spent decades honing his craft – leading resort destinations, real estate properties, and the healthcare and home improvement industries.
Here’s a bit more about Rodney and the things he enjoys.
Favorite pastime:
I like anything that gets me outside and clears my head. You’ll find me on a road bike whenever the temperature is above 60 degrees—unless I’m playing tennis. I grew up wanting to be Stan Smith. I had this great poster of him lunging across the net at Wimbledon.
Favorite music:
My teenager talked me into a new turntable, so I’m rediscovering my college albums. Heavily into Tom Waits at the moment, but it changes with my mood.
The beach or the mountains?
Mountains by a nose. We feel fortunate to live in a place where it’s so easy to enjoy both.
Like a new year, we approach each client project with fresh perspective and the commitment to do
Our recent shoot with The Swag showcases the new spa, The Still, renovations to Chestnut Lodge, and makes a convincing case for the luxury mountaintop hotel’s latest recognition as one of the top 22 worldwide Relais & Châteaux destinations this year.

Truly magical advertising starts with great product. That’s why we loved collaborating on the Le Creuset x Harry Potter campaign—as well as on the products it features. From early sketches of cookware concepts to final strategies for photography and social content, our team had a great time channeling Wizarding World culture into all aspects of the launch.
⚡️2 world-renowned brands. 1 magical collaboration.⚡️
We couldn’t be more proud of developing another inspired assortment with — this time, a cookware collaboration with the Wizarding World of . From head-turning product design to captivating marketing materials, videos and store merchandising, our team worked its own magic to help bring the spellbinding range to kitchens and dining rooms just in time for the holidays.
It was a picture-perfect potluck. Happy Thanksgiving from our FLamily to yours!
Simple moments, made memorable—that’s the experience at Reynolds Lake Oconee. We’re grateful to partner with the Atlanta-area club community and Hunter Public Relations to give writers a peek behind the curtain as they recently enjoyed the benefits of a Reynolds Platinum Membership for four days. Like a fireside whiskey tasting at the Sandy Creek Sporting Grounds, custom dinners with executive Chef Zouhair Bellout, access to the Ritz-Carlton and golf with award-winning lake views. Fostering relationships between our clients and key media allows these important details and stories to reach readers nationwide and beyond.
Kaylan Whitaker recently joined the FerebeeLane family as Senior Art Director. After working in Beijing for several years, she moved to NYC where she quickly fell in love with the city and its art and food and parks and people and dogs. Still based in New York, Kaylan brings years of experience in brand identity and luxury design—much of which she honed in the high-end fragrance world—to work for clients like Le Creuset and Canoe Place Inn & Cottages. We thought we’d share a bit about Kaylan and what she's been up to recently.
