Did you know this week is national nurses week?
We would like to take a moment of your time to help us in celebrating our two dynamic nurses, Kim Caines, RN and Amelia Bevier RHSD/LPN.
To say we are fortunate enough to have two of the BEST nurses in the business working for Huntington Terrace is an absurd understatement!
These ladies show us their true heart, compassion, dedication and brilliance each and every day!
Today may be an “official” week to celebrate nurses, but here at Huntington Terrace, we rejoice daily the blessing of having these two incredible women as a part of our Dream Team. ❤️

A letter written to our dedicated employees from a resident family member
March 23rd, 2024
To all the dedicated employees at Huntington Terrace. I am so happy I found your community and shared it with my sisters. Your care for our mom was kind, loving and so much appreciated. She needed so much care faster than we ever expected and your staff rose to the occasion with each step, with care and kindness.
Thank you so much!

Happy Easter from all of us at Huntington Terrace! 🐣
An updated review from a resident family member:
UPDATE....2024. My Mom loves being here. You can see the smile on her face....she just glows. Another year has gone by and these people are incredible. If you can get your loved one into this place, this is the one. My mom can't believe how good the food is also. Thank you Huntington Terrace for being the place ALL care facilities should model.
…
I do not understand why there are only 10 reviews. This place should have hundreds of 5 stars. We were looking for a place for my Mom, and we are so fortunate to find Huntington. We were recommended Huntington by some friends. They said "If it were my mom, this is the place I would want her to be". They were right. Sheryl and Terry gave us all the information, answered every question, addressed all our concerns, and were so kind. My 82-year-old mom was scared to move into assisted living....and now she is a resident and is so happy. From the staff to the food to the rooms, all outstanding. Every person that I have met has been so nice, informative, and kind. Wow. Do not hesitate to consider this place for your loved ones.

A Thanksgiving Message from our Executive Director
I am taking time today to give thanks to the amazing "Dream Team" at Huntington Terrace.
I was so aware, today in particular, that the work we do, and the efforts made by our team, have a huge impact on those we serve. A month of coordination and planning, accumulated into an hour of memories that our residents, families, friends and staff will all cherish forever.
When I look at the pictures from today, I see the God given talent given to Chef Myrna who puts her heart and soul into creating not just a meal, but a dining experience, meant to unlock core memories as well as bringing in new ones. I had one resident tell me (with a tear in his eye), that the meal transported him to his wife's cooking on holidays, gathered with his young family. I had another resident tell me she had no idea what the item was on her plate. When I told her it was a piece of dragon fruit, her face lit up and she said she had always wanted to try it. After 85 yrs, today she got that chance!
I was also so aware of residents with their families who may not be together next year, as time has a way of winding down all clocks. I also looked in the eyes of residents who were having a wonderful time with their table mates, despite the absence of their own family members.
My biggest take away from today is the knowledge that I am surrounded by the BEST people I have ever worked with. They all have special talents or gifts that our community benefits from. However, it is something really special to witness a collection of people who ALL have a strong work ethic, deep compassion, dedication, and love with a CHOSEN desire to serve. When I refer to our "Dream Team", these are the beautiful people I speak of.
I hope everyone else's memories of Thanksgiving this year are as vibrant and beautiful as those we shared today with our residents and family members.
Sincerely,
Terry Braun
