We are excited to announce that on Wednesday July 24th our members will be visiting two neighborhoods in our district. We will be at Nathaniel Place from 6:30 – 7:15 and at the intersection of Mohawk Drive and Greenwood Drive from 7:15 – 8:00. Stop by, meet our members, and learn more about the volunteer opportunities available in the department.

Those who stop by will be treated to an ice-cream coupon for a free ice-cream courtesy of Stewarts shops,

Last evening our members trained on forcible entry. We are thankful for our friends at the Fort Hunter FD for the use of their simulator.

Thank you again to all who supported our Auxiliary today with our Brooks BBQ dinners. A special thanks to the volunteers shown below for making this event possible.

We are excited to be teaming up with our friends at the Fort Hunter Fire Department again this year for our Firefighter meet & greet.

Stop by Corner Ice-cream on Monday July 1st between 7 and 9 pm to meet our members, tour our trucks and see demonstrations.

On Monday May 20th our members put their extrication skills to the test as they trained on the different types of vehicles and types of extrication that may be needed.

This past Monday our members participated in a car fire drill. These training sessions allow us to practice our skills in a safe training environment.

In January the department recognized Tom Blank for 50 years of service and dedication to the department and community. This past Monday we were able to present him with a special leather helmet.

Tom, thank you for everything you have done over the last 50 years and for all you continue to do for all of us.

This past Monday the members of the Guilderland Fire Department were honored to present life members Vince Ganance with and award for 64 years of service to the residents of our fire district.

Vince you are an inspiration to us all thank you for all you have done and for what you continue to do.

This past Saturday during the snow storm our members responded to 22 calls in a 24 hour period. A very long but satisfying day for everyone.

If you have ever wondered what it would be like to be part of our team, we would love to have the chance to meet with you and answer any questions you may have.

Engine 28’s crew backing up our brothers and sisters in the Westmere Fire Department this afternoon with a report of smoke at the mall.

Due to the number of residents who remain without power due to yesterday’s storm. The Guilderland Fire Department will be serving as a warming today until closed.

A very busy night for our members and other departments in the town. Please be cautious if you are outside and see wires down, play it safe and stay away.

🚒 We’re back this Sunday, March 17th for breakfast sandwiches!! Drive thru at North Bethlehem Fire Department and grab a sandwich and hash brown to-go! Your choice of bacon, sausage, or ham. In the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day we are adding a ✨special✨ - sliced corned beef, egg, & cheese! We appreciate all of your support and we look forward to seeing you all this Sunday!☘️🤩

Our officers were happy to host an interagency course which provides participants with the required skills to facilitate firefighter emergency escape techniques to their home departments. A special thank you to our NYS Instructors for a wonderful class.

Today our company officers are participating in additional training which we will pass along to our members during our weekly drills and training.

Our thoughts and prayers are with our brothers and sisters of the Sterling Volunteer Fire Company as well as their families during this difficult time.

We have sold out. Thank you again for supporting us this year.

Happy Valentine’s Day! If you have not had a chance to pickup something for that special person, we still have a nice selection but don’t wait too long.
