Interesting info to help monarchs and native pollinators.
With the recent news of the Monarch Butterfly being added to the Endangered list, the Elkhart Environmental Center is sharing this Monarch nectar plant list from the Xerces Society for the Midwest Region. Many home gardeners and businesses may respond to the news by planting more milkweed (the host plants), but Monarchs need other nectar sources to fuel their journey. Those plants can support native bumblebees, Monarchs and a whole host of other native birds and insects at the same time. Hope this is helpful to those wanting to do their part! https://xerces.org/sites/default/files/publications/18-003_02_Monarch-Nectar-Plant-Lists-FS_web%20-%20Jessa%20Kay%20Cruz.pdf?fbclid=IwAR0qWASnGoMvNPGLZHZlHifCxDTKJMNB-WSk7Nr7EoA4x9cIAeAvPi9khmM
This looks like a great idea especially where space is somewhat limited or when people experience limited mobility.
Steep garden beds avoid compaction from increased pressure over time. Steep beds mean more surface area in your garden for your plants and the height makes it easy for harvesting. The greater the mass, the greater water-retention benefits.

As you may have noticed, our organization is going beyond recycling and embracing the circular economy. This shift was motivated by the recognition that recycling, on its own, is not enough. Waste is a big problem, and our current system for managing it isnβt sustainable from an economic, social, or environmental perspective. The circular economy is the solutionβbut what is the circular economy, anyway? Learn more at circularindiana.org/post/what-is-a-circular-economy
