Last night WIB competed in the semi-finals for the volleyball intramural! While we did not win, we had a blast this season! Thank you to everyone who came out and played with us!

Tonight’s meeting was great! We are so thankful for the guest speakers who came out from Clifton Larson Allen!
This past Thursday the members of Women in Business had the opportunity to hear Jennie Lopez speak. She gave great insight on being an “intentional unicorn” in the business world!
We had such a fun time tie-dying shirts as a club at yesterday’s meeting!
We also played in our first intramural volleyball game, and although we lost, we looked great doing so!💕
Can’t wait to see y’all at the meeting tomorrow!!
A few members of WIB had the honor of being invited to the NWI Women’s Innovation & Leadership Summit. It was truly an amazing experience, and we got the opportunity to get some awesome insight into what it takes to be an effective woman leader!

Catherine Anselm “Kate” Gleason
- She helped design a revolutionary machine that efficiently and inexpensively produced beveled gears. This machine caught the attention of Henry Ford.
- She was temporarily the first female president of First National Bank of Rochester.
- She invented a new method of pouring concrete after World War 1. She was then selling low-cost concrete-box houses.
- She was the first female member of the American Concrete Institute and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
