The Harbor Springs Library is open to the public and offers not only books and magazines but also Wi-Fi, computers, and community programming.

Our Wednesday tween STEM activity went well this week as participants built bridges. We will continue with these on Wednesdays at 2:00PM and lasting about 45 minutes. Our next activity will take place on July 31st.

We have been having a great summer at the Harbor Springs Library.
On Tuesday Henry was here and was read to by several kids.
On Wednesday we had a Lego challenge. Build the tallest WNBA trophy with only the Legos that were in the "secret bag".
The Harbor Springs Library loves when kids ride their bikes to the library.

On Tuesday from 10 to noon Henry the therapy dog will be here for kids to read to him. We still have slots available between 11 and noon.
On Wednesday we will have a tween Lego challenge from 2 to 3.
On Friday we will have story time at 10:30am.

We had a book club meeting for all ages last Friday. Children from our story time joined our senior book club and shared what they were reading.

Our Novel Auction starts on June 5th and runs through the 15th. Items can be viewed starting on June 1st. However, there may be some additions or changes during the preview period.
As part of our cooperation with the Great Start Collaborative, we will be placing our "free books for kids" cart outside the library on nice days. During inclement weather it will be upstairs by the elevator.
We had a great time reading Curious George books today.
On Friday April 19th at 10:30, the Man with the Yellow Hat will be reading some Curious George books at the Harbor Springs Library.
Our Senior book club meets on the first Friday of each month at 1:00 in the Friendship Center of Harbor Springs. Today we had a great time discussing books and enjoying each other's company.
Clifford wants to remind everyone that story time is Friday at 10:30AM at the Harbor Springs Library.
March is Women in History Month, and the Harbor Springs Library has a nice selection of books for all ages.
The Harbor Springs Library teen/tween advisory group has requested that we offer some Lego building programs. Thus, we are seeking donations of Lego bricks and figures. If you would consider donating some, please drop them off at the Library or call 231-526-2531 and someone will pick them up. Thank You.
Don't forget, the "Cat in the Hat" will be at the Harbor Springs Library tomorrow Friday March 1st at 10:30. He will be reading some Dr. Seuss books in honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday.
