Littermates Koda (formerly Chris) and Macki (formerly Reann) came to us back in April from Louisiana where they called the streets home.

Today we share an update from both of their new families! Koda (pictures 1-4) and Macki (pictures 5-8), are happy, healthy and LOVING their new homes. 🏡

Koda's mom says he's tenacious, loves life in the woods and makes his parents laugh every single day. He loves his brothers and enjoys playing with them when they're willing (🤣). Every toy is the best toy and he loves attention most of all. His parents refer to him as "no bones" because he'll throw himself on them and completely melt into a pile, completely unaware of his growing size. He's been the perfect addition to his family and they couldn't imagine life without him.🥰

Macki's mom says she's the sweetest, most cuddly girl who just wants attention. She'll let you know when she wants something by placing a paw on them. She loves her big {little} sister, and they play and get along so well together. She also loves traveling in the car and going on walkies!😍

Auggie is doing fantastic and has settled in well with his new family! While they’re still working on redirecting some of his excitement like barking at or chasing the family cats and goats, he’s truly become a part of the family. His new owner jokes that he thinks the pillows are just for him to rest his head on (🤣) but they couldn’t be happier and are incredibly thankful to have found Auggie!💗

Last week, we had an incredible time stepping out of the office and into the great outdoors at Camp Daggett’s second Non-Profit Appreciation Fun Day! 🌲✨

It was the perfect afternoon filled with fun, crafts, a cookout, and more—all on the beautiful shores of Walloon Lake. From zip lining and tackling the rock wall to enjoying a peaceful pontoon boat ride, the day was packed with laughter, fresh air, and great memories.
