Happy everyone! After living donor surgery, recovery times vary.
On average, a living-kidney donor will only spend about two days in the hospital. After two to six weeks, most living-kidney donors return to their daily routines.
Most living-liver donors return to work after six to 12 weeks. About three months after surgery, the liver should have regenerated completely.
