Spring 2024 Mold Student project.
8 cavity tool producing Triangle Game Pegs. Parts have textured finish and a micro machined Central Communtity College logo molded into each one. The attention to even the smallest of details in this mold is beyond impressive. From the care in designing proper cooling channels to part layout and venting it was fun watching them rise to the challenge.

Advanced Manufacturing is offering a two-day workshop in June for area counselors and educators to get a hands experience on how everyday items are manufactured. This also includes local industry tours. Come and make your own Top and Fidget Spinner using CNC equipment and explore the high-tech world Advanced Manufacturing has to offer.

Gratitude abounds on this first day of Thanksgiving week as the Gene Haas Foundation presented the advanced manufacturing design technology (AMDT) program at the Hastings Campus with a $50,000 check. The funds will be used for student scholarships that can be used for tuition, tools and equipment or other necessities to complete their studies. The AMDT program at CCC-Hastings is one of a select few Gene Haas Advanced Manufacturing Design Centers.
