Our US Postal Workers in Henrico, NC collected over 450 pounds of donated food items to help restock Big Heart Pantry. We're grateful to them and the volunteers who picked up the donation, sorted the food and restocked the pantry!

It is with a heavy heart that we learned today of the passing of Lucy Edwards, President of the Big Heart Pantry Executive Board. She was a woman of God, educator, community leader, wife, mother, mentor, volunteer, and friend. She led with distinction and love. A phenomenal woman with phenomenal gifts. Our condolences to the family and all who knew her. John 11:25-27

Big Heart Pantry Volunteers are a gift! Today we recognized their compassion and service with an appreciation dinner. Board President Lucy Edwards saluted Mark and Beth Wethington with the 2023 Presidents Award. Esther Baker was acknowledged as the new Volunteer Coordinator.
