So this was supposed to be a post about how amazing this bbq sauce is and some blah blah blah about coating your ribs in it but now we have to navigate in a different direction after a heated debate started in the shop.

This week's soap sale of the week is our Peach Tea Scrub. Bars this week will be $2.50

Shark week soaps just got put out, and the sharks brought friends. We have several sea life creatures and also put out some water pokemon soap bars

Quick update today ( monday) we will have extended hours at the ice cream shop until 8:30pm. We are hosting LR band camp this evening, so doors will be open until 8:30. Now for the exciting news.....

Just peachy , this candle smells fresh off the back of a pickup truck on the side of a dirt road in Georgia. This scent captures the true essence of a fresh peach.

This week's soap of the week is our Dead Sea Mud Scrub. It is a earthy fragrance with some amber notes. Also it contains activated charcoal, sea salt, and several clays to make for an excellent exfoliating bar!

The bar will be on sale for $2.50 from today until next Tuesday.

It's hot outside. Like miserably hot, but what better way to cool down than with a cool treat. We have tons of ice cream bars , hand dipped ice cream , frozen lemonades , and milkshakes and to make the deal a little sweeter for you all while also entertaining us. Newton is where I grew up after moving from NY . I used to walk the square after leaving school several times a week. I love to see Newton grow but just like downtown hickory a few years back, in order to grow construction is necessary. I saw the toll the construction took on our downtown and it's impacting newton just as bad if not worse. So all my people in the newton area make sure to swing in and support local. They need it more than ever right now. Help them get through this so soon their downtown can flourish!

Summer is here, and we got some big things coming for both the ice cream shop and the general store. Be on the lookout for some cool summer sweet treats. We will also be rolling out our new candle line and several new summer scents in our classic line in the coming weeks !!!

We are going to do something fun moving forward to encourage everyone to try new things. Every Wednesday, we are going to post a soap of the week. The soap will be on sale from Wednesday to the following tuesday. This week's soap scent will be our Blueberry scrub. Strong Blueberry scent that contains oatmeal and sea salt to exfoliate.
