GHCCM has received $2,500 from the Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation to help nourish clients experiencing hunger. The Feeding the Hungry grant supports community feeding partners by helping those living in poverty to increase their access to nutritious food and providing nutrition education to eliminate health risks for those experiencing food insecurity.

THANK YOU to the St. Luke’s United Methodist Youth Group for spending their SERVE DAY at GHCCM! We hosted 13 youth and 4 leaders as they delivered collected items from St. Luke’s UMC to GHCCM Ministry (hygiene items for shower kits, towels, empty medicine bottles, cleaning supplies, clothing, food), assembled shower kits, made encouragement cards for homeless neighbors, cleaned crisis clothing closet, sorted clothing, and assisted with other cleaning tasks in the building. We appreciate you!!
THANK YOU to the First Presbyterian Church VBS “Mission in the City” participants who recently visited GHCCM! We enjoyed having 18 fifth & sixth grade students volunteering and making an impact in their community!
The group assisted GHCCM with housekeeping & hand-making encouragement cards to go with the 100 Shower Kits First Presbyterian donated to the GHCCM Homeless Ministry. Thank You to First Presbyterian Church for your generous support!
The GHCCM Nutrition Plus program encourages healthy eating, and provides education and cooking classes for those with Diabetes and Hypertension. Feel free to drop off any healthy fresh goodies for this valuable program Monday – Thursday 9:00am – 4:00pm.

A look at our recent Music Monday Devotions! Minister from Christ Church North side, Pastor Faircloth, provided music and prayer for our clients and staff and Molly shared her beautiful voice as we sang praises to God!
On Friday, April 26, GHCCM proudly celebrated the new name of our Medical Clinic. It is now recognized as the Dr. John Earl Medical Ministry Clinic.
Over 80 family and friends were in attendance to honor the memory of Dr. Earl including his devoted wife, Jane Earl. The unveiling and the naming service recognized the passion, service, and dedication that Dr. Earl provided to his patients throughout his career in Hickory, NC.
