Last night, our founder Lisa Zucker had the honor of speaking at Pentecostal Tabernacle for C.A.R.E. 4 Grief Mental Health Awareness Month, following the loss of Bishop Stewart.
We are deeply grateful for the invitation to present at your congregation. It was an inspiring evening alongside incredible co-panelists Dr. Caryn Blair, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, Odelaisys S**o, LMHC, and Lataya Hall, MSc. LMHC, BCCC, CG-C.
Together, we’re fostering conversations about grief and mental health.
On this solemn Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the courageous men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. This Sunday, we recognize a special day that many may not be aware of—Bereaved Mother's Day.
It's a day dedicated to those mothers who carry love in one hand and loss in the other.
To all the mothers who have endured the unimaginable loss of a child, we stand with you in recognition of your strength and your love that never fades.
It's a day to acknowledge that grief is a testament to love and that your love as a mother endures forever.
To every mother who finds this day heavy with memory and meaning, please know that your feelings are valid, your experiences are acknowledged, and your children are remembered. We see your courage, we honor your sorrow, and we support you in every step of your journey.
May you find moments of peace and comfort in the memories you cherish, surrounded by those who understand and share this poignant day with you. You are not alone.
Wishing all of the bereaved moms out there a peaceful Mother’s Day ❤️🩹 💐
We’re loving on you so much this . We know it hurts. You are your child’s mother now, always, forever. 💕 Don’t ever forget it.
You are the Mother of all Mothers.
Give yourself permission to feel whatever you feel today, tomorrow and the days after Mother’s Day. It’s ok to be sad. It’s ok to be numb. It’s ok to feel joy. All feeling are ok. Above all I hope you feel your child with you tomorrow, and you feel loved.
Sending infinite support and hugs to every who lives without one or more of her precious children. We see you and we love you. 💐 xoxo, Angela Miller

You got this!
With love, from GriefTREE ♥️
Celebrating Valentine’s Day while experiencing grief is a delicate balance of honoring the past and embracing the present. While grief may cast a shadow on the day, it’s possible to find moments of solace and even joy amidst the sorrow.
One way to celebrate Valentine’s Day while grieving is to create new traditions or rituals that pay tribute to the loved one who has passed. This could involve visiting their favorite places, cooking their favorite meal, or engaging in activities they enjoyed. By incorporating their memory into the day’s festivities, you can feel a sense of connection and closeness despite their physical absence.
Additionally, Valentine’s Day can be an opportunity to practice self-love and self-care. Treat yourself with kindness and compassion, engaging in activities that bring you comfort and joy. Whether it’s indulging in a favorite hobby, spending time in nature, or pampering yourself with a spa day, prioritizing your own well-being can help alleviate some of the pain associated with grief.
