Aloha patrons, we kindly request that all DoorDash drivers or pick-ups press “Confirm Pickup” when picking up to-go orders. There has been an influx of fraudulent activity and we are only a small business. We will kindly hold your order until the DoorDash driver presses confirm to avoid any mixups. Mahalo for your patronage.

Not in the mood for phở, but need something warm and soupy? We have multiple soup options and one of our favorites is the mì hoành thánh! It’s essentially a wonton soup - great for warming up your tummies.

Phở: a Vietnamese soup consisting of broth, rice noodles, herbs, and meat (usually beef sometimes chicken.)

Pho originated in the early 20th century in northern Vietnam, and was popularized throughout the world by refugees after the Vietnam War. [Nguyen, Andrea Q. "History of Pho Noodle Soup"].

Many Hanoians explain that the word phở derives from French soldiers' ordering "feu" (fire) from gánh phở, referring to both the steam rising from a bowl of pho and the wood fire seen glowing from a gánh phở in the evening. [Bùi Minh Đức (2009).]

Can you guess what Vietnamese dish this is? It’s a popular street food in Vietnam, but not heavily marketed here in the states.

We are officially open again! Thank you for being patient with us as we tried to evade COVID-19 during the 2nd lockdown. We are back in business for both take-out and dine-in services again.

Timeline photos 08/13/2020

The recent spike in cases has concerned us and we have made the difficult decision to close shop until the situation alleviates. When we re-open, we intend to start with take-out only until further notice. We have made this decision to protect our staff and our customers in an effort to reduce the possibility of spreading the virus. Please take care and stay safe, everyone!
