The power is out, but classes are on!

Since there is no power, there is no heat or lights and no live stream.
As of now, you can’t get into the parking lot with the arm bar, (street and meter parking still works)

All in person classes are a go, including tonight. His silent headphones are all charged up and ready for you!

Q: In what way are you still like (or connected to) your childhood self?
A: I feel I portray my childhood self in the way that I’m not always so serious, and I have never let go of that light, and that warmth, and that authentic heart and soul - I’m simply not jaded.

A: Not a spot, but my go to breakfast is natto and kimchi 😌

Q: What mantra do you find yourself always coming back to?
A: “There are no mistakes, only lessons.“

We asked Gina a couple of questions:

Q: If you could spend 3 months, all expenses paid, in any city in the world, where would you live?
A: New Zealand. It’s been a lifetime goal to rent an RV and travel around the north and south parts of the islands. Explore with no expectations!

Q: What advice would you give someone just starting their yoga journey?
A: Don’t be afraid to have fun with it! There are so many moments where we feel that we have to take everything seriously. This is a safe place with a community that will always lift you up! Never be afraid of what you may discover from yourself and abilities!

Q: What is your favorite YRH class to take?
A: Yoga sculpt will always have my heart first! In sculpt, I’ve been able to discover this being that’s not afraid to embrace the silly side of things. To laugh at the little things we can’t control. Love the people around me. Most importantly, love for myself!

Yoga has shaped her life in so many ways and she is super passionate when it comes to sharing this practice with anyone and everyone. Maka strives to find the sweet balance between control and surrender in her practice and her teaching.

2. She was a springboard and platform diver! And was on the swimming and diving team in college
3. Her favorite way to relax is by reading; at the beach, at home or at a cafe. She’ll read anything and everything and loves to share books

3. She loves to solo travel and completed her 200YTT in Bali in 2022
