Make friends, help our Hawaii community and build your business every Thursday morning at the Plaza
Metro Rotary meets every Thursday morning at 7:15am at The Pacific Club, 1451 Queen St. Rotary’s main objective is service — in the community, in the workplace, and around the globe. The 1.2 million Rotarians who make up more than 34,000 Rotary clubs in nearly every country in the world share a dedication to the ideal of Service Above Self. Rotary clubs are open to people of all cultures and any ethnicity and are not affiliated with any political or religious organizations.
It was our privilege to support the 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at Tamarind Park at Bishop Square for the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. The community of downtown Honolulu gathered to honor and remember those we lost on that tragic day as well as the who we continue to lose due to health complications from being on ground zero.
In attendance was Mayor Rick Blangiardi, representatives from the Honolulu Police Department, Fire Department, and Emergency Medical Services, and representatives from American and United Airlines. The Royal Hawaiian Band and Celtic Pipes and Drums of Hawai'i participated in the ceremony.

We have also provided career mentoring at Roosevelt High School, promoted sustainability through graphics for Kalihi Elementary school, reforested Gunstock Ranch, and preserved our coastlines by picking up trash and debris. Tonight's proceeds will continue to fuel our mission!
