He has been recognized for his talents as a headline entertainer, performing in the "Live" in Waikiki Show at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Hotel in Waikiki, Hawaii, in 2010. He has also received several awards for his work in radio, including the 2002 Pele Award of Excellence First Place for the Polynesian Cultural Center, and the 1998 Silver Microphone Award - National Runner-up for T.G.I. Friday's Radio Ad, and the 1999 Na Hoku Hanohano Award for co-producing Augie Tulba’s Comedy Kahuna CD, which won the Comedy Album of the Year. In teaching, Kekuewa has developed a unique technique called "Motivational Self Development Through the Human Voice." This method utilizes vocal exercises combined with self-development principles to bring about significant changes in human behavior patterns, resulting in increased self-confidence. He has documented case studies spanning 34 years and has published a book on the subject entitled "The Universal Law of Attraction and Singing" which is available on Amazon and originally published on April 17, 2016. In radio, Kekuewa has had a successful career as a radio personality, program director, production director, copywriter, and station voice. He has worked at various Hawaii radio stations, including J-Wave Radio Network 88.3 FM in Tokyo, Japan, KIKI AM, KINE 105.1 FM, KISA 1540 AM, and KCCN FM, KIKI FM, and KDNN FM among others, and retired from radio and entertainment on December 20, 2022. As a composer, Kekuewa has written over 300 original compositions, including songs, theme songs for radio and television, and jingles used in advertising on radio and television in Hawaii. In business, Kekuewa has founded several companies, including Voicemaster Enterprises LLC, the parent company of Voicemaster Vocal Development, formerly known as Voicemaster Singing School, Hawaii's first formal singing school. He also founded VMAC Consultants, a social media advertising agency, AFM Worldwide LLC, a performing artist management agency, and dba AFM Hawaii Music, a recording label. Wild Wahine Enterprises LLC, a product licensing company, and Screenmaster Pictures LLC, a motion picture company. Royal Equine Hawaii LLC, (Dissolved) Wild Wahine Magazine LLC, a bikini model magazine company, Universal Motivation LLC, is a motivational self-development company, and creators of registered methods: ‘The Forward Method’, and ‘Motivational Self-Development Through the Human Voice’. Kekuewa was also the creator and the parent company of The Junior Kekuewa Jr. Roadshow, which was closed in December 2019.
