Today John Salmonson was inducted into the 2024 Hawai’i Running Hall of Fame. His love for trail running fueled a movement and the beginning of an Ohana many years ago, appropriately called HURT. We are fortunate to carry his legacy forward every step we take on our beautiful Hawai’i trails. &PJ

We had an insane rainstorm pass through on Monday but race conditions are lookin’ rather ripe 🤘

Can we say amazing? This iron crew (plus many more) worked their b***y off from 7am-3pm doing a final grooming of the race course, for the safety of our runners this coming weekend. Mahalo to our volunteers. ⭐️🤙⭐️🤙⭐️

Due to the recent landslide on Aihualama Trail (Pauoa Flats-Manoa), HURT has worked hard to develop an alternate course that will deliver all the challenge and fun that our runners have come to expect.
