Pain can be frustrating and deceptive. It often appears in areas distant from its true source. This is known as referred pain and means that where you are experiencing pain is not necessarily where it is originating from. It can also explain why so often our patients tell us that various treatments, exercises, stretches don’t seem to be helping their complaints.

For example, pain in your elbow, arm or shoulder can be a result of a biomechanical issue in your neck. Understanding this is critical to obtaining an accurate diagnosis and effectively treating the underlying cause.

At Blake Chiropractic we utilize Applied Kinesiology to determine how muscle weaknesses & strengths can provide us with a more specific answer to where your pain & discomfort. This allows us to effectively treat you and get you back to feeling your best
