It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the loss of our beloved Miss Kerrie.
Kerrie is our niece, cousin, and friend who taught at DTTM for many years…
To say she has touched the hearts of so many is an understatement.
She had a way of being your confidant, friend and mentor all at once with her gigantic and empathetic heart. She poured her heart and soul into everything in life including her students and her dances; it is impossible not to love her.
She had a special relationship & connection with each and every student and parent through the years, especially her teenagers.
You could always count on her to remember random things, choreography to a dance 20 years ago, all the dancers in that routine, and probably each of their birthdays!
Miss Kerrie’s vibrant, larger than life, hilarious spirit will be so missed - but her legacy lives on in OUR hearts and at DTTM forever.
We know that earthquake was you teaching your first tap class in heaven!
