Extending Houston Restaurant Weeks this year could be an incredible opportunity for all parties involved. For restaurants like ours, it would provide a much-needed boost in customer traffic and revenue, helping us to recover and stabilize after the significant financial setbacks we've experienced. It would also mean more hours and income for our dedicated staff, who have been through so much and continue to show their resilience and commitment. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻??

As a small family owned business, we were just recuperating from the struggles of this May’s Derechos thunderstorms and tornado, just to be hit by this month’s Hurricane Beryl. As a restaurant that meant having to discard all of our product and spend thousands of dollars into new products just to do it all over again now, on top of that, our rent and utilities have and will not be stopped from being charged. We have poured our heart and spent so much money in order to reopen this past May after Derechos thunderstorms and tornado, and we were just getting back on track when hurricane Beryl happened, we had been closed for almost a week, in which we were only able to clean and hope to get power back soon. I know that this is not just something that affects us as Restaurateurs but it's something that affects our staff and their families and that of those that have been unable to work during these disasters.
July is a slow month for the industry and looking forward to Houston Restaurant Weeks is what gives us a beacon of hope at this point.

Thank you for reading through my lengthy message. Today, on July 13, 2024, we have joyfully reopened our doors for dinner service. This news also applies to others in the neighborhood and throughout the city who have recently had their power restored. A big thank you to everyone who visited us today. We are thrilled to be back serving you and look forward to seeing you again.
Once again, thank you for your unwavering support. It means the world to us. Here's to many more evenings filled with laughter, delicious food, and cherished memories. We’ll hopefully see you soon!
