Our Story
Established in 1971, the Bayou City Art Festival is a bi-annual event produced by the Art Colony Association. In the spring, the show is held at Memorial Park and in Downtown Houston in the fall.
Over the past 48 years, the festival routinely attracts crowds of 35,000 annually and has raised over $3.6 million in support of local nonprofit organizations.
The Art Colony Association provides unique art experiences and education for the greater Houston community by bringing diverse artists to the Bayou City Art Festival and supporting local non-profit organizations.
