This past summer, seven LSA graduates from the class of ’24 earned the AP Capstone Diploma™. To receive the AP Capstone Diploma, students must earn scores of 3 or higher in AP Seminar, AP Research, and on four additional AP® Exams of their choice.

LSA Robotics class started building their robots today. Lots and lots of parts to look through and build is the most fun and important part of designing and building your robot.

LSA competes in the SE Houston FIRST Tech Challenge league with 15 other teams in a high paced and exciting environment of competition, engineering, and learning from each other.

Heavenly Father,

As we begin this new school year at Lutheran South Academy, we come before you with hearts full of gratitude and hope. We thank You for the opportunity to grow in knowledge, faith, and community. We ask for your blessing upon every member of our school family.

Lord, we lift up our students to you. Grant them curiosity and enthusiasm for learning, strength to overcome challenges, and a spirit of kindness towards one another. May they find joy in their studies and grow not just academically but in their love for you.

We also pray for the families of our students. Surround them with your peace and wisdom. Help them to be a source of support and encouragement, and grant them the balance to nurture both their children’s education and their spiritual growth.

Father, we lift up our teachers and staff. Endow them with patience, creativity, and a deep sense of purpose as they guide and mentor our students. May they be a reflection of your love and grace, creating a nurturing environment where every student feels valued and inspired.

Bless our entire school community as we embark on this new academic year. May your presence be felt in every classroom and hallway. Help us to work together in unity and to support one another with compassion and respect.

LSA Pioneer 4-H Competed today at the Texas 4-H State Contest.

Peyton and Elizabeth competed in Educational Presentation Safety and Injury Prevention.

Miller and Jake competed in Educational Presentation Promote 4-H and took home 4th place!
