A place dental and dental hygiene students can call their own. The new Student Center at UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry features a classroom and a lounge area that can comfortably accommodate 70 people with room for both group gatherings and individual studying or relaxation, as well as an added kitchenette area nearby.

A recent renovation on UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry’s fourth floor saw the relocation of the Westbrook Classroom into the Library & Learning Commons. Named after B.J. Westbrook, DDS ’54, the donor of the largest gift total from an alumnus, the classroom repurposed an estimated 1,500 square feet of space to fit a 40-person capacity inside the multi-faceted group study and meeting area.
