In light of this, we have adjusted the Summer I and Summer II class schedules:

**Summer I Classes (June 3 - July 9):**
- Extended through July 17th. Please contact your instructor for further guidance.

**Summer II Classes (July 11 - August 18):**
- Scheduled to begin on Thursday, July 11th.
- Classes will be cancelled through Sunday, July 14th.
- Please contact your instructor for further guidance starting Monday, July 15th.

New registrations and schedule changes will be processed beginning Monday, July 15th.

Lone Star College HOSA dominated at the Texas State Conference!

Our 17 students faced tough competition from top universities and brought home impressive results. Congratulations to our HOSA team on their 1st place finishes in Nursing Assisting, Forensic Science, Family Medicine Physician, Human Growth & Development, and Pharmacy Science! We can't wait to see them shine at Internationals in June!

Yesterday was unforgettable! We celebrated our historic first Hispanic Chancellor, Mario K. Castillo, El Mero Mero!

The energy was electric as enjoyed performances by the Klein ISD Mariachi Tigre, led by Director Carlos Lara, and the Danza Chikawa Dance, led by Director Alejandra Tapia.

Special guests, Daniel Meza, Lone Star College Professor Icess Fernandez Rojas, and Roger Rodriguez shared their powerful words through poems and book excerpts, connecting us all to the richness of Hispanic culture.

This event was a powerful tribute to Hispanic culture and a celebration of leadership, leaving everyone feeling connected and overflown with positivity.

A huge thanks to the committee who organized such a fantastic event in collaboration with Palabra: Latino Writers Having Their Say. Your hard work truly shined.
