Happy Dragon Boat Festival! 端午安康！(Duānwǔ ānkāng!) ✨🛶

The Dragon Boat Festival, also known as Duanwu Festival (端午節 duān wǔ jié ), is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar. This year, it falls on 06/10/2024. The festival commemorates the life and death of the famous Chinese scholar Qu Yuan and involves various traditions, including dragon boat racing and eating zongzi. These sticky rice dumplings, wrapped in bamboo leaves, come in a variety of flavors, both sweet and savory, and are a symbol of unity and familial bonds.
