Starting Monday, local eateries will be serving up plates that further help UHD’s Gators accomplish their academic goals. During the week of May 18 - 24, Houston-area restaurants will participate in “Grub for Gators,” a fundraising initiative benefitting UHD students challenged by the pandemic. Each day, a featured restaurant will contribute a percent of its sales to UHD’s Gator Emergency Fund. Come out and enjoy a good meal, supporting a great cause! https://bit.ly/35WHYX6

Harris County inmates and the coronavirus Krista Gehring, Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at the University of Houston-Downtown talks about the coronavirus dangers for inmates and the legal aspects of releasing inmates both in Harris County and around the country.

To best prepare for this transition, make sure to log onto your BlackBoard account to receive instructions from your professor.
