This week marks a special milestone as 10 years ago, Hunter started his journey through law school.

From those early days of intense study and late-night reading sessions to standing in the courtroom advocating for justice, it’s been a pretty cool decade to say the least.

Hunter told me they were instructed to wear suits for the first day- although I think he just wanted to for dramatic effect 😂

Here’s to many more years of making a difference and upholding the law. Thank you to everyone who has supported him along the way! ⚖️📚

We are so excited for the third annual Cultura Festival! This event is special to us because we have many colleagues in our office of Latin descent, and it’s always a blast.

So come on out on September 22 from noon to 7pm at The Orion Amphitheater! Enjoy a chill Sunday filled with spice and everything nice. There will be music, delicious food, and of course lots of dancing 💃🕺.

The best part? Cultura Festival is open to all ages and it’s FREE! So, bring your family and friends and try to keep up with our killer moves.

Thank you HealthSource Chiropractic of Madison-Hughes Road for coming in this morning and prepping our all-stars for their next game with some quality chiro work.

The whole office participated! (Even though only the stars were selected for photo ops). We even had a few staff members schedule another session! Dr. Richeson and his team were very polite and helpful.

Congratulations to our "Ambulance Chaserz" Hunter and Chris! They went undefeated out of 12 teams in the City of Madison Rec League this season, earning them the official title of Men's League Champions for Summer 2024.

As we continue to debate over who's taller and overall, more athletic, we hope to see them continue to succeed in and out of the office.

A big thank you to Madison, Alabama Parks and Recreation for allowing these guys to get together and have some fun.

We received the sweetest thank you letter from Scarlett! She is an 8 year old girl who is thankful to be spending time with her friends this summer.

The OWO (Osborne-Warren-Oden) center has a summer program designed for children aged 5-12. Here, they can enjoy various activities such as swimming and field trips!

We are so happy and blessed to be apart of her summer adventure! 🌞⛱️

Yesterday, we celebrated not just one, but two great "Reyes de la oficina" (kings of the office) who share the same birthday, vision, and love for Christ.

Two and a half years ago, Robert and Hunter started this journey to create a firm that helps everyday people and represents our community. I think we can all agree they've had some success in doing so.

Here’s a great settlement today on a small case:

Top offer before a lawsuit was $9,685.56 so we filed a lawsuit. We just settled for $14,500. That’s between an additional $2,500 and $3,000 more in our client’s pocket! I’m glad the client trusted us to file the lawsuit.

I’m not usually one to brag about verdicts or settlements.

I think billboards and tv commercials with huge numbers are tacky. They can lead folks to believe that every little case is worth millions. In reality, a verdict or settlement in the millions almost always involves a life changing injury, permanent injury.

But here’s a verdict worth bragging about.

We took this case two years ago. It was a hard case. We knew there was a good chance that we would lose. Thankfully, the injuries were small but our client was without a vehicle due to the crash.

I met with the clients and immediately knew that this wasn’t a profitable case. But we had a firm wide meeting to decide what to do.

1) Accept the case knowing that we would likely lose and if we win it’ll be a small amount.

2) Or turn the case down and wish the client the best. But we knew this accident had really turned our clients’ world upside down.

We took the case and Robert Patterson took the case to trial.

Today, we got an order back. We won. Our client is made whole. And we couldn’t be prouder.

What an incredible season. She led the NATION with 84 goals in 25 games this season 🤯

I’m very proud to have such a special athlete from my own high school.

Back in 2008, when Danville’s soccer program was started, I never imagined that we would have a national renown athlete (other than me of course 😝)

When we’re not working, you can find us in 100 degree weather recruiting family members for farm labor. But don’t worry, they love it!!! I actually remember one of Hunter’s sisters saying, “I dream of putting down Hay during the hottest hours of the day, it’s my passion.” Not only do you learn the value of hard work, but we get to bond as everyone is always in the greatest of moods excited for the fun day ahead😃 I mean just look at their excitement. Let us know if you have the same passion and want to join the next Summer Hay Day!

Meet Kayla, our newest paralegal. Her passion for working in the legal field began when she was 17. While she was just a junior in high school, she joined the Army National Guard as a Military Police Officer. Eventually, she became a civilian police officer and served a small community in Ohio.

She is currently pursuing her associates degree in paralegal studies & business law from the University of Cincinnati. She is due to graduate this Fall. Her old police chief has told her that she is a compassionate and empathetic person who cares about the community. She is a determined mom of four that has been married for ten years. When she isn’t working or studying, she enjoys cooking big meals for her and her family. Additionally, she is an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying kayaking and hiking with the hopes of learning bushcraft.
