We have a bumper crop of irises this year that have taken centerstage . However, the hostas are giving them a run for their money.
Looking for neighbors within the Shane boundaries. Our boundaries are 38th St. to the S. Arlington Ave. to the west 46 street to the north and Kenmore Road and Sheridan Road to the east. Our next meeting will be on March 12 at 6:30 PM. We meet at Zion Hope Baptist Church at 46 and Arlington Avenue. We will have a special presentation regarding the upcoming changes in Medicare and state run Medicaid laws that going to affect July 2024. If you are a Medicare, or Medicaid recipient, this information is very important for you.

A regular notice will be going out, but we wanted to give you an advance invitation to a very special SHANE Meeting on May 9th.
Our guests will be Eskenazi officers to provide insight and information regarding the new facility at 38th St and Arlington Ave. Many services will be offered in addition to the health opportunities and they are very anxious to hear from you and focus on your needs, They will not know, unless you show up. This meeting will be especially beneficial to our senior neighbors that have many housing needs. Please bring somebody and everybody to this very special meeting because the information will be of great benefit and all of your questions and concerns can be addressed directly.
TO OUR NEIGHBORS BELOW 42nd ST: We have an opportunity to have some improvements made along Pogues Run on 39th St. Your voice needs to be heard. We are asking for 39th St to really show up and express your needs.
